Rosemary after the Rain
Glass
Yesterday, our church joined with our two sister churches for a worship service on the Union College campus. It was a sweet time of worship and so great to greet (or at least glimpse) many old friends.
Spray Park
Chameleon
One of these days I’m going to write about the new rhythm of my days with boys in school and Clara with me. Here’s a little preview: she tends to the slowpoke side of things, and I have some time to play with the camera. This guy is Gonzo, a panther chameleon at the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. I probably could have watched him for hours.
Playground
Waterfall
I fully intend to get some first-day-of-school photos and stories up soon. In the meantime, I’m catching up with my No Kids No Flowers challenge pictures. After we dropped the boys off at school for their first day, Clara and I headed to a park, where she drew on the sidewalks with chalk and threw pine needles in the water while I experimented with the shutter-priority setting on the camera.
Reflection
We spent our last day of summer with dear friends at the Lauritzen Gardens. It was delightful and lovely until the last ten minutes or so when everybody (moms included) hit their limit at the same time–hot and hangry, all of us. My boys were also sorely disappointed to learn that they couldn’t actually keep the coins they had worked so hard to fish out of the fountains.
Big Al
We are last-hurrahing before school starts on Wednesday. Today the kids took a ride on Big Al.
