I headed out to Pioneers Park with Simon this morning, ostensibly to take a walk, but I had all kinds of ulterior motives — topping the list were capturing a bit of the beautiful fog that had fallen on Lincoln and getting some practice with my camera before an afternoon photo shoot (I got contacts this week, and picking up my camera has been surprisingly disorienting). As it turned out, after just a few shots, Simon wanted to hold my hand and “just walk and talk.” This kid is always full of good ideas.

Such a crisp, clean shot with vibrant colors! I really like this one. (Simon looks like a big boy version of himself. When did he get so tall?)
